Our recent experience purchasing a PT Cruiser from American was wonderful! They drove the Cruiser to our mechanic in Woodbury, and then repaired the very few minor issues that were found. We have such confidence in this family business that we have just returned to purchase another vehicle. We continue to tell others of our positive experiences with Steven, Mike, and Bob!! Hi everyone, I was looking for a suv to replace the one my 16 year old total my 02 Tahoe.So we were looking around for a replacement,we came upon American Auto and had nice Cadillac Escalade we looked at it and bought it.After driving for a short while some issues were happening so I called and talked to them about the stuff that was going on and they said to bring it down,after getting all the stuff fixed no more problems.It was very nice that they were able to do that for us since we live month to month,so If you’re in the market for a car or truck you should check the these guys out.
Please, save your time and energy and don't shop for a car here.. further more anything they sell that has an engine. We had to go back numerous times to fix problems that should have been checked in the first place. The only helpful person there was the owner's son. Didn't even offer money back or any coupons for further services. On top of that we had to leave our car there to get fixed for a broken headlight and broken radio. They didn't even call to say the car was done, mind you it's been a week already. When we called they said it was done. We get there and have to wait longer then an hour cause they hadn't finshed. So please if you have a little more money please shop elsewhere.
After getting quotes from multiple places in the area for what was a quick fix I brought my car down to AA. Mike and his staff gave my car a diagnosis, an amazingly low quote, and even gave me a ride back home. Not too long later they called saying the repairs were complete and my car sounds as good as new! Will definitely be reccomending this place in the future!!! Thanks!
