I went in to the store today and the lady was so aggressive that my dog strated the get nervous.as soon as we walk in she basically attacked my dog with treats which started the problem then I go to the wash station and she put the collar on my dog and yanks him around with it and I had to say we don't do that with our dog so I proceed to take my dog and leave the store and she is now trying to sells us pills that calm my dog?? In my opinion she needs to take a few pills to calm her down. My dog is a professional trained black lab.this was a horrible experience for me and my dog
I really like this store. It is far better than it's closest competitor down the road. Prices are good considering it is a nicer store with seemingly higher quality merchandise. Staff has always been very helpful and friendly. In fact, one of them always knew my order upon arrival and made excellent suggestions for other odds and ends.
I've come to this store twice now to be disappointed each time. The 1st time I went I was looking for treats for my cat and checked out their expensive cat houses (which I was willing to buy that day). Walked around the store for a bit while two cashiers just sat near the front. No one asked me if I needed any help nor even acknowledged my existence as a customer. Left disappointed because they didn't have a particular brand of treats that I wanted and after spending 20 minutes in there without even a hello I didn't feel welcome. Today was my 2nd time going and I was in search of a waterbottle for a rabbit. The aisles are strange and there was no indicator that small animal stuff was in the back. So I looked around for a bit. I know it was a busy day because the vet was there but it took me awhile to find an employee to ask if they had any. They didn't have any in stock and I was told they would be in tomorrow. They ran out during the holiday weekend. I didn't know rabbit supplies were in demand during fourth of July weekend (*scarcasm*). Anyways I left again feeling like no matter the reason why I go there they will never have what I need. I won't be coming back to find out either.
We have been going here for the past 4 months since we got our puppy. We use the dog wash stations weekly, and buy food (orijen), treats, and toys on a regular basis. The manager(Mike), and the staff we have dealt with are fantastic and often help us bring purchaces to our car. Aleshia is fantastic and gives us personal attention and guidance for any purchase we make. I highly recommend this location!!!
The prices are "OK" compared to other pet stores, but the employees are never friendly and no one ever asks if I need help finding something. I usually have to go up to the register and ask them - which often makes me feel like I'm intruding on "their time."
