I'd advise anyone considering going here to stay far, far away.
After taking X-rays, Dr. Y spent about 4 minutes quickly going over EVERY tooth, not just the one in pain. He determined that I would need a root canal on at least one tooth (possibly 2), the follow-up filling and crown work on those, 8 additional fillings, & treatment for gum disease. I explained that this was shocking since I had just seen my dentist about 4 weeks prior and had a clean bill of health. (red flag #1) I asked about antibiotics to treat the infected tooth since I wasn't going to be able to see the endodontist right away. He explained this wouldn't help and the only way to do anything about it was to perform the root canal. (red flag #2) He then passed me off to the payment specialist where I was presented with a treatment plan in the amount of $7110 and was informed I needed to arrange payment before they could even make the appointment (big giant red flag #3).
I have always dreaded going to the dentist and this place has changed my mind. Quick, easy, painless and my teeth look and feel amazing. Everyone at the office was great and friendly.
They were able to schedule me for an emergency on a Saturday. Everyone was kind and professional. Even though they initially stated that a temporary solution was not possible, they took up the challenge and created a solution out of whole cloth. Very kind and sympathetic. Thank you!
I went in for some acute tooth pain I was having because my regular dentist couldn't see me. Initial visit was free, so I thought why not. Huge mistake.
Great but then terrible experience. Front desk was great, confused on all the X-rays but the dental nurses were kind and understanding! The Hygienist that I met was very thorough and explained everything very nicely which I have never had before, doctor was nice. Only problem I had was when I got too the manager, which that itself took forever! Don't come here unless you want to be belittled by the office manager Chrissie and wait forever just for her to ask a million personal questions and beat around the bush with numbers, I shouldn't be questioned on why I don't want to do something...
Quite frankly, it's terrifying that this doctor / practice is allowed access to the public. I'm listing this at One star only because that's the minimum allowed to post (it's actually a very generous rating).
The staff of our local Aspen dental is fantastic. They explain everything and keep you informed along the way of every procedure. Dr Y and Celina make a great team. All of the employees here seem genuinely happy at every visit and are always polite. To me this speaks volumes for Aspen Dental’s training processes and hopefully the monetary compensation given to this well deserving team. Renée - Happy Aspen Dental Patient.
After literally being driven to tears over this news I immediately got in to see my dentist that afternoon whereupon he thoroughly examined me and determined this was likely a sinus infection paired with teeth grinding that was causing my pain (no fillings necessary, no gum disease, and no sign of needing a root canal).
