I wouldn't even give them one star , but unfortunately I have to , but there not worth that star. That's how bad their customer service is!!!!i sold my bike that I bought from them and they wouldn't even cancel the extended warranty (which was never used) , then I asked about the VIP service that I purchased ( which was an I house service , again never used ) they told me there is no compensation nor a refund( this service was 2500.00) in which they received payment for . I told the manager that was poor customer service and he told me to go buy my next bike elsewhere and hung up the phone on me ( how rude). I wouldn't buy another bike from them if they were the only harley dealer on this planet . Ohhh not to mention I purchased the scotch guard service which also cost me 700.00 and this wasn't even done because they changed the seat in front of me and didn't apply anything to it . Yankees only intentions are to get rid of the bikes in their showroom , they will tell you their there to make you happy , well im anything but happy with Yankee harley . I wouldn't suggest to my worse enemy to purchase a bike from them ..

Bought a new HD in 2007 from them. Have had plenty of experience with the service department. Had a warranty issue with a porous cast cylinder head that I easily diagnosed but they insisted "no". So two visits for tip end kits (freaking gaskets) and it leaked through the head casting each time before I got a mile down the road. Finally discussing it with the service foreman at the time Don, (decent guy)he agreed with me and it was taken care of. Did I mention the bike was originally assembled with the front wheel / tire mounted backwards? How about the time I had a service appointment and when I picked it up and ride to get coffee I found 3 of the chrome derby screws missing (fell out enroute) and the others backed off. That synthetic I run in the primary would have put me in the hospital if it hit my rear wheel. Oh, the incorrect routing of my clutch cable. There is more but I'm done. Having to explain to my wife why I prefer going to Waterbury or East Hartford for something I decided not to tackle at home when Yankee is in walking distance just brings up all the frustration I've had there. I currently own two Harley's that were purchased new from them and it's a shame I can't trust them. 40 years on bikes, I know how things should be done.

For me, I'll only buy parts and oil filters when necessary there.

Nice place in all the years I've seen it in its prime and I've seen it in ruff shape but on my last vist it seemed very quiet there very nice employees and of course the wonderful Barbie. Who's been there since the beginning. Large selection of everything in stock. I've bought 2 bikes so far from them and I know I'll be buying another at some point in the future.

I am starting the bike shopping process and I stopped in today. Brian and Ted showed me around and were EXTREMELY helpful. They showed me a few different bikes and were a blast to work with. When it comes time to buy my bike I'll be going back to see the both of them!

If you ever consider a used bike from them be aware used inventory sits outside in ALL weather. The rust gremlins will get at it. They have a space issue and the city won't let them expand outward, only up like another story to the building. That's why those used ones sit in snow, ice rain and harsh UV.

Yankee is not bad. Not great. Typical dealership atmosphere, lot of nice staff. I had a positive experience through purchasing my bike, but was unsatisfied with the follow through customer care afterwards. Took quite a bit of phone calls, with no call backs typically, except Jeff who pushed for me. I'd say this could be a great dealership, but they need serious improvement in customer care.
