My wife brought a watch in for repair nearly 2 months ago. She called a couple of times to check on the status of the watch (you would have thought Michaels would have given her a couple of courtesy calls) with that being said, she got a call saturday that it was finally in. I brought her right away to get it just to leave without it. They only accept cash, charge or Wells Fargo, now one would think that this should have been told at the time the watch was dropped off. Very disappointed and unfortunate for Michael's Jewelers Bristol Ct store we nor our family will be going back.
I bought a beautiful gold braided wedding ring in 1998 which literally got flattened by a big recycle truck. I was so upset that it almost brought me to tears. I took it back to Michaels to see if anything could be done and within a week my ring looked exactly as it did and EVEN had the engraving still. Cost not being a factor, the repairs were nominal in comparison to the craftsmanship that restored it. Big isn't always better and my whole family now shops there and love the product and services.
I shop here all the time for all of my Pandora wants and needs.The women that work here are great. The manager is awesome and very pleasant. No matter how long I take to make a decision when choosing the charms, she always waits patiently, no matter the cost of the purchase. This Michaels is my favorite, it has a 'mom and pop store' kind of feel while being a larger retailer.
The women that work in this Michaels Jewelers are extremely rude. They do not want to talk to you unless you are going to spend money in their store. I have spent a lot of money on jewelry and would NEVER go back to this store due to the attitudes of the women running this store. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
I needed a rush on an engraving and they did it in 1 week. Very pleased with the service here.
