I had a horrible experience with Walmart. I had bought two iPhone X's on Black Friday, and they had a $300 each gift card promotion. They give us a piece paper and say this is your card. Two weeks later, we see on the piece of paper that we need to redeem it for a gift card (and it had no expiration date). When we went in, we tried to redeem it, for some reason the frontline staff (which were very nice) got the assistant manager, which was also nice. The assistant manager called the manager because the manager was not on site, and the manager would not honor it because "it was after the event date". There was nothing on the paper that said anything about any event date and when we had to redeem it. Now, we had to call Walmart support and report this manager to head office. If this Walmart store doesn't do anything about this, me and my family will take action. I am going to say that the store staff and the assistant manager were very nice, they were just powerless. I would highly not recommend shopping at this Walmart.
I just left Walmart in Bristol and believe it or not I feel fantastic. They have an absolutely wonderful team working there. All have smiles all are ready and willing to help you and you can also find an employee in almost every aisle! Mala! You & your team are the BEST! THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP TONIGHT :)
My review for Walmart is short, they're very good at what they do. People can complain about them and and whatever, but when I need something I'd say 80% of the times I go there. As I have said in other posts, and small ways they're cutting even to into discount stores like Aldis by selling grocery items at or close to the same price the Aldi's wood sell them for.
I had a very good experience today. I was looking for something and Joseph helped me find it. In which there was only one left and he held it for me until I was able to come back later to pick it up. Just the type of service that I should expect, and indeed got, thank you Joseph & Walmart.
I like it here better than most. It it just about the best. Not much for groceries. Nice enough employees.
Update: They corrected the issue and gave us our gift cards. Thank you for doing the right thing, Walmart.
